Charges
At Mount Alvernia Hospital, we have a range of rooms to accommodate your needs and preferences. All rooms are tastefully furnished, air-conditioned, and equipped with attached bathroom and toilet facilities, telephone and television with in-house movies except for 6-Bed rooms, in which televisions are not available.
Patients who seek extra comfort and privacy may request for a Suite or Super Deluxe Room, which comes with an adjoining private room for visitors and family.

Please note:
- Rates are subject to review.
- All goods & services consumed are subject to 7% GST.
- For Day Surgery cases, Day Surgery packages apply only if all procedures are completed within the same calendar day (by 12 midnight).
- MOH guidelines on submission of Medisave Claims also stipulate that day cases must be done within the same day.
Initial Deposit
An initial deposit is payable upon admission. This will be the higher of 30% of your estimated hospital charges upon admission (regardless of room type and usage of Medisave) or the following table:-

Deposit For Transfer / Evacuation Cases
The deposit for transfer/evacuation cases will be the higher of 50% of your estimated hospital charges upon admission or the following table:

Discharge from Hospital
You are kindly requested to settle your accounts (Hospital & Doctor's Fees, if applicable) before you leave the hospital. Our discharge time is before 12 noon (lunch is not included on the day of discharge). There will be a half day charge for patients who discharge between 12 noon to 6pm. Discharge after 6pm will be charged as full day.
Settlement of Accounts
Interim progress payment will be requested during your stay.
Payment mode
You may pay by cash, cheque, credit cards or NETS.
Medisave
You may also use the Medisave fund (subject to maximum claimable from CPF Board) to settle the hospital bills for yourself, your spouse, parents or children. Should you wish to use Medisave for your grandparents, you may do so provided they are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents. For further information on Medisave, please consult our staff at the Business Office.
Medical insurance
If you are covered by medical insurance, our Medical Records Office will be pleased to liaise with your attending Doctor in completing your claim forms.
Company
If your company is registered with our hospital for credit facilities, please present a Letter of Guarantee from your employer. This letter exempts you from paying a deposit on admission.
All fees and charges are updated as at 1 Jan 2010 and may be revised by the Hospital without prior notice.
