MEDICAL
Resident Medical Officer (Health Screening)
You will be responsible for delivering high quality medical services according to the hospital standards and policies and provide health education and medical advice to screeners.
Requirements:
• MBBS registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Preferably with 3-5 years’ working experience in either restructured or private healthcare setting
Resident Medical Officers (24 Hours Walk-In Clinic) (Permanent / Locum)
You will be responsible for providing medical services to patients for inpatient, outpatient and staff as well as to promote and maintain standards of health care through education for both the public and staff of the hospital.
Requirements:
• MBBS registrable with Singapore Medical Council
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Minimum 3 years post housemenship preferably with Accident & Emergency experience
NURSING
Staff Nurses / Staff Midwives / Enrolled Nurses (Office Hours / Shift Duty)
(Delivery Suites, Post-Natal Wards, Paediatrics, OT, CCU, NICU, 24-Hr Walk-In Clinic & Medical / Surgery Wards)
Requirements:
• General Nursing qualifications and be registered/enrolled with Singapore Nursing Board
• Preferably with Post Basic qualification for specialized wards
• Effective team player
• Preferably with 2 years’ experience in acute care hospital
Staff Nurse (Business Office)
You will be responsible for the daily key operational activities in areas of admission, discharge, estimation of hospital charges and/or translating of narrative descriptions of diagnosis / procedures into codes, according to a pre-defined casemix classification system.
Requirements:
• State Registered Nurse and preferably Degree in Nursing / Management
• Minimum 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in a healthcare setting
• Good knowledge of Medisave / DRG requirements preferred
• Good Office and communication skills
Parentcraft / Lactation Counsellor
You will be responsible for planning and conducting parentcraft / breastfeeding education. You are required to promote and teach breastfeeding and assist mothers to achieve successful breastfeeding.
Requirements:
• State Registered Nurse (SRN) and State Certified Midwife (SCM) with Singapore Nursing Board
• Preferably with International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification.
• At least 2 years’ related working experience
• Possess good Parentcraft / Lactation knowledge and practices
• Demonstrate aptitude for Parencraft / Lactation teaching and passionate in promoting breastfeeding
ALLIED HEALTH
Pharmacist / Assistant Manager / Manager
You will be responsible for the proper dispensing of prescribed drugs, providing drug information and counseling on the prescribed medications for all patients and medical staff.
Requirements:
• Registered with Singapore Pharmacy Board
• Degree in Pharmacy
• Good knowledge of drugs
• Systematic and organized
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Phlebotomist
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Laboratory, you will be responsible for performing venepuncture on outpatients and inpatients in the Hospital.
Requirements:
• State Enrolled Nurse / Diploma in Medical Technology / Certificate of Performance in Theory and Practice of Phlebotomy
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Medical Laboratory doing phlebotomy
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
ADMIN & SUPPORT
Corporate Development Executive, Physician Relationship Management
You must possess strong people skills, a good customer relations mindset and the ability to communicate clearly across various levels. A resourceful and creative individual, you would be required to think on your feet and problem solve effectively. Your key responsibilities include:
• Cultivating and managing relationships with doctors
• Organising activities for engagement of doctors
• Coordinating tenancy matters
• Maintaining database
• Developing collaterals and communication material
• Compiling statistical reports
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma, with at least 3 years of working experience
• Experience in client / partner relations, business development, events management in service, hospitality, membership-base or healthcare industries
• Good negotiation skills
• Good working IT knowledge
Strategic Marketing Executive
You should be able to work independently to raise awareness of Mount Alvernia Hospital's services within Singapore and the region. Your key responsibilities include:
• Managing marketing events and activities
• Establishing and managing relationships with corporations and partners
• Effective use of marketing research information to establish segment profiles
• Maintaining contacts with patients who have used the hospital
• Developing publicity materials and event mailers
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Good working IT knowledge
• Experience in regional marketing, event management and client relationship-building
• Able to travel frequently
• Able to multi-task
Patient Service Assistants (Office Hours / Shift Duties)
Reporting to the Manager, you will work with a team of customer service officers in the delivery of excellent frontline patient services and other administrative duties.
Requirements:
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level
• Computer literate
• Good customer service skills required
• Preferably with related working experience
The remuneration package will commensurate with the level of responsibility.
