The Mount Alvernia Cardiovascular Laboratory is equipped with one of the most advanced angiographic machines. Together with a tilting table, digital subtraction mode and rotational angiography capabilities, the cardiovascular laboratory is suitable for coronary, vascular and body works.

We perform invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including treatment of patients for acute myocardial infarction. A broad variety of angioplasty equipment, bare-metal, drug-eluting and bioengineered stents are available for our patients.

Our staff are also trained to handle the intra-aortic balloon counter-pulsation to provide haemodynamic support for patients with low blood pressure.

To complement the Cardiovascular Laboratory, our hospital also provides CT coronary angiogram services at our Diagnostic Imaging Department.
